Between January and July 2022 pupil's from Greengate Junior school worked on a project where they made artwork with materials that were found on Earnse Bay beach, Walney, in Barrow-in-Furness. With support from BarrowFull and artists Danielle Chappell Aspinwall and Marisa Crane, the pupils began by making mixed media sculptures, taking inspiration from their personal interests including football/sports, animals, video games, the environment, and the beach.

In May 2022, supported by BarrowFull, the class commissioned London based artist Alexander Mourant to make work to be exhibited alongside theirs at an exhibition at Cooke's Studios in Barrow between 7th - 11th July 2022. The class asked Alexander to make work that like theirs, also incorporated items found on Earnse Bay. For the exhibition Mourant produced 3 large scale fabric cyanotypes, a series of cyanotypes inspired by a research trip to Barrow in early June 2022, and work made in collaboration with the pupils inspired by a trip to Earnse Bay. The works explore community, the environment and Barrow’s intrinsic relationship to the sea.
