During Barrow Music Week 2023, in partnership with FON (Full of Noises), BarrowFull shared the music of five international composers/musicians in one of the phone box exhibition spaces next to Barrow Library on Abbey Road.
Visitors could press a button on an interactive installation that then played one of five tracks from composers selected by BarrowFull’s community advisors. Composers were: Eugenio Soria and Martín Berger (Argentina), Arthur Carneiro (Brazil), Aymeric Le Martelot (France), Cordane Richardson (Anguilla/US/UK), Francesco D’Andrea (Italy/France)
The two red phone boxes on Abbey Road, next to the library are now owned by BarrowFull and are used to programme a range of displays and exhibitions(2024)
