In June 2024, BarrowFull delivered a temporary art installation in two red phone boxes on Abbey Road, next to Barrow library, in collaboration with the Barrow public. Via social media, email, phone and in-person contact with BarrowFull, the community suggested local people they would like to be celebrated in the installation which created a long list of suggestions. A poll was then created for people to vote on, and Peggy Braithwaite and Dave Myers came top of the list.
Artist Hannah Fox created an installation that included two pieces of clothing, representing Peggy and Dave that hung from the top of the inside of the phone boxes and spun slowly to catch the eye of people walking past the phone boxes. Prints were pasted temporarily on the wall behind the phone boxes extending the designs from the items of clothing.
